Where are we heading for ?????

It is my first ever blog and I have natural instict towards writing and expressing my feelings. For the first time, I shall be sharing with the other people after I wrote an article during my Journalism diploma for inhouse newsletter and of course my diary has been a very compassionate companion to absorb all my feelings throught out.

Yesterday, I was just chatting with some of my friends and we all were cherishing our fond memories of sweet childhood; the way we spent. The question which comes to our mind is, do our children also get the similar opportunities to enjoy their childhood and grow up with our basic ethics, values which would make them a better human being....to my mind and all of you would agree....the answer to this question is NO.

When we know and agree it is No, then what are we doing to reverse the time and go back in our time, allow our children also to enjoy their life, child hood and grow up as a complete human being with good friends around.

I shall take this up issue with lot of people and would seek everyone's comment and inputs on that. This write up would in series and this is a series One.

I strongly believe in team work and getting people together who think alike and support each other towards the common objective...lets also contribute from our side on lot of such issues which really need our attention and participation to make our society and country livable for our future generations as well.

  1. Hi...
first of all welcome to the Blog World and expressing your feelings.
I truely agree that the time we have spent in our childhood would never come back but we can actually see that time in our children but the only roadblock I foresee is that way things are moving on these days where we have to be more careful in management of our children's habits and interests.

    Very nicely written feelings.

All the very best in your new role in blogging world.

  6. Great and welcome to the blogworld.

Since your address came to me through Mr.Chawla who happens to be Hindi blogger, I would like to request you, if possible, to pen down your superb thoughts in Hindi as well.

    Wish you good luck.

  8. I do agree with you but perhaps the time has changed and it is more harsh than what it was before. The rat race does not allow a mediocre child to grow and get what he dreams in life.

Pls start writing in Hindi as well because we all love it.

  10. Thanks for your visit at my blog.

I do not agree with your opinion that our children will not receive the same ethics and values as us. Our children will receive the same values and ethics we have imbibed and that is what we give to our children as well. So, it is us who are to be blamed and not anyone else.

It is up to the parents to choose what sort of education they want their children to receive. An education does not only mean going to school. It could also be to learn to respect teachers, fellow classmates, elders, learn to respect views, opinions and differences. What happens in school is beyond our scope of influence, but what is within is the school we choose to put our children in. Character begins at home and hence it is for the parents to teach and guide their children to learn and inculcate such values that are not taught in school.

So, there is no need to reverse time or a complete society to come together to save our children from straying out of the line of control. A conscious effort from parents is all that is needed.
